Display typefaces for The New Yorker magazine:
During the refresh of the front sections of the magazine, we realized that the 22pt/25pt headlines set in Irvin (drawn originally by Rea Irvin in 1925) needed to be updated; the Goings on About Town section opener required another cut (set at 34pt)—a slightly higher contrast version for a more elegant look. Additional cuts were later drawn for the Festival, Radio Hour, etc.
Neutraface was also given a slight overhaul with additional characters added and use of the alternate characters already part of the character set.
